 Zamalek SC: A long history and distinguished achievements     

Zamalek SC is one of the oldest sports clubs in Egypt and Africa, and has a large fan base that extends beyond the country's borders. The club was founded on January 5, 1911 under the name "Qasr El Nil Club", before changing its name to "Al-Mokhtalat Club" and then "Farouk" during the ownership period, until it settled on its current name after the 1952 revolution.

Throughout its history, Zamalek has achieved many local and continental championships, including:


Egyptian Premier League: It won the title more than 14 times, and was always a fierce competitor to Al-Ahly.


Egypt Cup: It holds a great record in terms of winning, as it won the cup more than 28 times.


CAF Champions League: It won the championship 5 times, becoming one of the greatest clubs on the continent.


CAF Super Cup: It won the championship 4 times, which highlights its strength on the African scene.


Other Championships: African Confederation Cup, Egyptian Super Cup, in addition to its international participations.


Stadium and Fans


Zamalek plays its matches at the "Cairo International Stadium", which is one of the largest and most important stadiums in Egypt. It also has its own stadium at the club's headquarters in Mit Okba.


As for its fans, they are characterized by their great passion and unlimited love for the club, and the "Ultras White Knights" represent a strong voice for this ancient audience.
